Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

In short: we collect what the app needs to work — your Google sign-in, your journal and what you post in communities. Your journal is private: only you, the mentors you approve and our administrators can open it. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell your data. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Wille's Journal (the website at willes-journal.web.app, the phone app and the desktop apps for Windows and Mac — together "the Service") is run by Sjuttiofyra, a sole trader business registered in Sweden. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Questions or requests: 74wille@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Your account

You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier, and we create an account ID for you. The desktop app stores a sign-in key on your computer so it can keep you signed in.

The desktop app also works out a device identifier from your computer's hardware. It is used to check whether the computer has access, and is shown to you on the access screen. It is only stored on our side if your computer is added to the access list.

Your journal

Everything you put in your journal: trades (instrument, entries, exits, size, results, notes, tags), trading accounts, recaps, weekly reviews, playbooks, goals, screenshots, voice notes and app settings. This is synced so the same journal appears on every device you use.

Your profile and activity

Your username, profile picture, banner, name colour, custom status, any social media handles you choose to add, your level and experience points, and whether you are online. Your profile is visible to other signed-in users.

Communities, chat and voice

Communities you create or join, your role in them, messages, images, reactions, trade signals and trades you share, and whether you are typing. Voice rooms connect your device directly to the other participants' devices (peer-to-peer), which means participants' devices can see each other's IP addresses. To set up that connection your device contacts a connection server (Google's public STUN servers); when a direct connection is not possible, the audio is passed through a relay server run by Metered. We do not record voice rooms.

Subscription

Your trial or subscription status, when your current period ends, and a link to your billing portal. We do not receive or store your card details — payments are handled by Whop (see section 5).

Technical data

Like any online service, our hosting and database provider (Google Firebase) processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the Service and keep it secure. We do not use analytics or advertising tools and do not build profiles of you.

When the app runs into an error, it sends us an error report so we can fix it: the error message and where in the code it happened, the app version, your operating system, which screen was open and your account ID. Error reports contain no trades, notes or messages.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers are based in the United States or may process data there. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. You can export your trades to CSV in the app at any time. To use any of these rights, email 74wille@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se) or the data protection authority where you live.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access rules on our database and file storage limit each person to what they are allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Age

The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

11. Cookies and local storage

See our Cookie Policy. In short: only what is strictly needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings — nothing for tracking.

12. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
